A rescue knife for emergency professionals at sea and in the mountains, the SMJ RESCUE AW (Air/Water) is specifically designed to cut ropes (including towing hawsers or bits of very large diameter). Already adopted by many rescuers and firefighters in the french GRIMP (Groupe de Recherche et d’Intervention en Milieu Périlleux).

Blade in 420 HC stainless steel with thickness 3 mm. The sheepfoot profile (without tip) limits the risk of injuries and puncture. Denture very specific HPA: wide teeth (easily be sharpened) and very procumbent (strong cutting power).

The Teflon coating protects against corrosion and reduce friction while cutting thick section materials. Shackle integrated notching on the back of the blade to prevent slippage of the thumb.

Flat knife ergonomics particularly developed fora reassuring grip. An indispensable tool in addition to PPE for offshore workers, as well as on board rescue vessels or recreation.

The case of SMJ knife was also particularly developed. It is reversible and designed to fit in all positions on almost all types of media: stabilizing jackets, life jackets, harnesses, backpacks, belts, forearm etc. The elastic strap secures the knife in its case to avoid loss.

Can also be screwed on boat deck or on a post onboard.
