O-rings and rubber dry out and lose their functionality over time. Regular flushing and lubrication maintenance increases the service life and makes the equipment more reliable during use.
The most common error when using such grease is to use too much. You only need a very limited amount; - enough is when you see the o-ring is glossy, not so much that you can see that it is "well-lubricated
Note! This grease is not oxygen compatible. For lubrication of o-rings and similar items, which are in contact with higher oxygen concentrations than 40%, we recommend Christo lube which is the "industry standard" for such purposes.
