Our specialty, service of suits

We perform a lot of suit repairs at our workshop and have developed a good reputation for quality and response time. An example is the Norwegian Society for SeaRescue (NSSR), who is dependant on functionality of their equipment at all times. We have long experience of servicing our own suits at our service workshop in Bergen, Norway. The work shop in Bergen is an important partner for our development department and production unit in Moss. Regular exchange of experience contributes to the equipment being serviced so that the lead time is as short and efficient as possible. Thorough training in service of our own products is the basis for our service business. Besides performing service on our own suits, we have for years carried out repairs on non-certified suits from other suppliers, and have formal training from eg DUI, Ursuk and Santi.

Our service stations are located in several places around the world. Service on Hansen-branded immerion suits (Solas) can be performed in many important hubs for shipping and offshore oil and gas. Examples here are, besides Bergen; - Aberdeen (UK), Amsterdam (NL) and Singapore. Products with EASA ETSO approval are subject to a strict service and repair regime. We carry out light maintenance a number of places along the coast of Norway and in Esbjerg in Denmark, while the main service is primarily performed at our service stations Nygårdsviken in Bergen and at our subsidiary in Holland, Biardo Survival Suits bv. Here, EASA Form1 is issued after service. In addition, we have access to production facilities at Hansen Protection in Moss, Norway. So we can do most of it!
